What is an onboard truck scale?
An onboard truck scale weighs the vehicle from the vehicle itself instead of a fixed weighbridge. AirRide Scale does it by reading the air pressure in each air bag on the suspension. As the load goes on, pressure rises, and calibrated sensors convert that pressure into accurate weight for every axle group. The result appears live in the Loadsense app on iOS and Android, so the driver sees the steer axle, drive axle group and any trailer groups in real time while loading.
